1. Who we are

SolarSaveAmerica (the "Site") is owned and operated by Lead Cactus LLC ("we," "us," "our"), 21218 St Andrews Blvd #237, Boca Raton, FL 33433. You can reach us at info@leadcactus.com.

We are a lead generation company, not a solar installer. We do not sell, install, finance, or service solar equipment. We operate this Site to connect homeowners who request information with companies that provide solar and home improvement products and services. Those companies are independent of us.

2. What this policy covers

This policy explains what information we collect through solarsaveamerica.org, how we use it, and who we share it with. It does not cover how the companies we connect you with handle your information once they receive it — each of them has its own privacy policy, and we do not control their practices.

3. Information you give us

Our form collects the following, in this order:

• ZIP code
• Average monthly electricity bill (a range, not an exact figure)
• Your electricity provider
• Whether you own or rent your home
• How much shade your roof gets
• First and last name
• Street address
• Email address
• Phone number

All of it is optional in the sense that you can stop at any point — but the form cannot be submitted without it, because the companies receiving your request need it to prepare a quote.

4. Information collected automatically

When you submit the form, our server records:

• IP address — required to document consent under telemarketing rules
• Browser user agent — same purpose
• The page URL you submitted from, including any campaign tracking parameters
• The referring website, if any

This Site does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising pixels, or session recording. We do not track you across other websites. If that changes, we will update this policy before the change takes effect.

The Site loads its typeface from Google Fonts. That request goes to Google's servers and discloses your IP address to Google. We do not receive anything from Google in return, and no cookie is set by it.

5. Sensitive information we do not collect

We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, driver's license number, financial account or card numbers, precise GPS location, health information, biometric data, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, union membership, sexual orientation, or the contents of your private communications. Please do not send any of this to us. If you do, we will delete it.

6. How we use your information

• To determine which companies may be able to serve your address and situation
• To transmit your request to those companies
• To contact you about your request
• To create and retain a record of the consent you gave, which we are required to keep
• To detect and prevent fraudulent or duplicate submissions
• To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests

7. Who we share it with — and the fact that we are paid for it

We share the information you submit with third-party marketing partners, and we are compensated when we do. Under California law and the privacy laws of several other states, this is a "sale" and a "sharing" of personal information. We want to be direct about that rather than bury it: transmitting your request to companies that pay for it is how this Site makes money.

The companies that may receive your information are listed on our Marketing Partners page. That list includes both companies that contact you directly and marketing networks that may pass your request to companies in their own networks.

We also share information with:

• Service providers that operate this Site on our behalf — our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and our lead distribution platform (LeadsPedia). These vendors process data under contract and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
• Legal recipients — law enforcement, regulators, or others where we are legally required to disclose, or where we need to establish or defend legal claims.
• A successor entity if our business or its assets are acquired, merged, or reorganized.

We do not sell or share personal information of anyone we know to be under 16 years of age.

8. Calls, texts, and your consent

When you submit the form, you provide your electronic signature consenting to be contacted by us and by the companies on our Marketing Partners page at the phone number you provided — including by automatic telephone dialing system, artificial or prerecorded voice, and SMS text message — even if that number is on a federal, state, or corporate Do-Not-Call list. Message and data rates may apply.

Your consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You may revoke it at any time. See section 9.

9. Your choices

Stop calls and texts

Reply STOP to any text message to stop texts from that sender. Ask any caller to place you on their internal Do-Not-Call list. Because your request may have been transmitted to more than one company, you may need to tell each of them separately — we cannot stop calls from a company we no longer control the data at. Stop the sale or sharing of your information

Use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. This right is available to residents of every U.S. state, not only those whose laws require it.

Global Privacy Control

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing. Because this Site sets no cookies, a GPC signal cannot be matched to a prior submission — it applies to activity in that browser session.

10. How long we keep it

We retain the information you submit, and the consent record described in section 4, for five years from the date of submission. That period is set by the statute of limitations for telephone consumer protection claims — we need the record to demonstrate that consent was given. We retain it for that purpose even if you later ask us to stop contacting you or to stop selling your information, because deleting it would destroy the evidence that protects both of us. After five years it is deleted.

11. Security

The Site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted to our server encrypted in transit, and the credentials used to forward your request are held as encrypted secrets rather than exposed in the page. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Children

This Site is intended for adults 18 and over who own residential property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information, email info@leadcactus.com and we will delete it.

13. Third-party sites

This Site links to pages operated by others, including the partner network rosters listed on our Marketing Partners page. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of the page reflects the most recent version. If we make a change that materially expands how we use or share information already collected, we will say so prominently on this page.
