Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

What this means

When you submit a request on SolarSaveAmerica, we transmit your information to third-party companies that may offer the products or services you asked about, and we are paid when we do. Under California's CCPA/CPRA and similar laws in other states, that is a "sale" and a "sharing" of personal information.

You have the right to tell us to stop. This page is how.

We extend this right to residents of every U.S. state, not only to those whose state law requires it. You do not need to tell us where you live to use it.

How to opt out

Option 1 — Email us

Send an email to info@leadcactus.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information." Clicking that link opens a pre-filled message.

So that we can find your record, please include:

• Your full name
• The email address you submitted
• The phone number you submitted
• The street address you submitted

We use this only to locate and verify your record. We will not use it to market to you, and we will not sell it.

Option 2 — Global Privacy Control

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out request. If your browser or extension sends GPC, we treat it as an opt-out for that browser. Because this Site sets no cookies, a GPC signal cannot be linked to a submission you made earlier — to cover information you already submitted, use Option 1.

Authorized agents

You may use an authorized agent to submit a request. Send the request to the address above along with written permission signed by you. We may contact you directly to confirm the agent's authority.

What happens after you ask

• We stop selling and sharing your personal information.
• We do this within 15 business days of receiving your request, as California law requires.
• We notify the parties to whom we sold or shared your information in the 90 days before your request, and instruct them to do the same.
• We confirm to you by email when it is done.

We do not charge for this and we will not treat you differently for asking. You will not receive a worse experience, different pricing, or a reduced level of service.

What an opt-out cannot undo

We want to set an accurate expectation here rather than have you discover it later.

An opt-out is forward-looking. If your request was already transmitted to a company before you opted out, that company already has your information. We will instruct them to stop selling or sharing it onward, but we cannot make them delete it or stop calling you — they are independent businesses and their own legal obligations apply. To stop contact from a specific company, contact that company directly, ask to be added to their internal do-not-call list, or reply STOP to their texts. The Marketing Partners page lists who may have received it.

Opting out of sale is not the same as opting out of contact. To stop us from contacting you, email info@leadcactus.com with "Do Not Contact" in the subject.

We retain your consent record either way. As explained in our Privacy Policy, we keep the record of the consent you gave for five years, even after you opt out. We are required to be able to demonstrate that consent was given. That record is not sold, shared, or used to market to you — it exists only as evidence.

Other privacy rights
